The COVID-19 pandemic presented the daunting challenge of providing meals for students at different locations, on different days and times, with different methods of delivery. Maschio's rose to the challenge and provided over 10 million meals to over 210 school districts.
We are passionate about food and we are known for our vision for personal "hands on" service. Our lunches are healthier than typical packed lunches with fewer calories, saturated fat & sugar. Our expertise and array of services is unmatched in the industry.
When you're part of the Maschio family, you'll feel at home with mentors, collaborators and inspirers that celebrate collective, dedicated success. We work together to maintain a great company culture.
Sustainability takes many forms from recycling efforts and using sustainable products to school
gardens and event tastings of locally grown produce. Maschio’s partners with its clients to explore
and implement improved sustainability initiatives on a continuous basis customized to each
district’s unique requirements and objectives.
POUNDS OF CO2
Maschio’s has saved 120,200 pounds of CO2 from the atmosphere — That is equivalent to the energy it takes to power 10 homes for a year, that’s absorbing
the same amount of CO2 as 910 tree seedlings grown for 10 years.
Maschio’s is a proud member of the National Network of Local-level Sustainable Organizations with presence in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida.
Sue Hohorst, who holds an MA in Sustainable Studies, is Maschio’s Sustainability Coordinator and is responsible for promoting and coordinating sustainability efforts with Maschio’s clients. We recognize the importance of sustainability for a greener future.

MASCHIO’S PARTNERS WITH LOCAL FARMS TO HAVE DEDICATED
ACREAGE FOR GROWING FRUITS & VEGETABLES FOR THEIR SCHOOLS.
Maschio’s goal with its Farm to School program is to provide as much local produce into the schools as possible. That’s why Maschio’s has partnered with local farms to have dedicated acreage growing fruits and vegetables for their schools. Parents want to know where their food comes from and so do their children. Maschio’s wants to insure students get the freshest, non-GMO, locally sourced produce available to them.
